And jeez, finally they actually SAY that Sam knew about Dean breaking the first seal. I thought he knew last season sometime after Dean found out, but I kept hearing a lot of talk about Sam not knowing...and really, it was never said explicitly this season. But I mean, as much of an ass as Dean can be sometimes, I don't think that's something he would have been able to keep from Sam. not when Sam is torturing himself for starting the Apocalypse. Dean's an ass, but that would have been overly cruel. I always saw them as sharing the blame, but Sam felt he had to shoulder more because he betrayed his brother and trusted Ruby when he really really shouldn't have.

But oh, the line about Sam needing to get away from Dean...heart-breaking. I'm glad they worked things out in the end.
