When Jared unexpectedly finds himself in possession of a stolen jewel that belongs to the mysterious and powerful sorceress who lives in the woods behind his castle, he feels compelled to return the stone right away. The witch surprises him by offering to grant him one wish, and the last thing he expects is to fall in love.

This is really only the third story I've done art for (and for good reason, I'm a terrible artist!), but this time I got to craft the prompt first instead of fitting a particular story. This is a prompt I've always wanted to read, but it needed a good fantasy author to write it, and

Media: Prismacolor pencils, photo manipulations, aesthetic.
About the art: I started out drawing the star sapphire oh a whim thinking I could connect it to a fantasy element. But I really liked how it turned out and built the rest of the pieces around it. I also drew the sunset scene. The images of Jared and Jensen are photo manips (at which I improved greatly from from the first draft of the art I considered submitting, trust me!). The title banner came about from me trying to be clever with layers, and was actually a mistake but since

So, no way I can include all the graphics in my first ~official~ art post (eeeep!), but here are a few, and I'm just proud. And, even though I had all of the locations, dates, and times for the scenes, I haven't gotten to READ the story yet even though I know it's amazing because I had snippets (I wanted to be surprised), and now I'm planning to get my butt right over there and jump in -- YOU SHOULD DO BECAUSE
