Wow, thank you! This started as something completely indulgent - I went to someone's house on Paradise Island (she's this kooky older woman who spends half the year in Mexico), and I could just picture Sam and Dean living there, away from things. I jotted some lines down, and then 5x16 and 5x17 happened, and it turned into a comforting future!fic for me. I can see it happening too. Thanks so much!
