And honestly, you're idea of replacing the seals make so much more sense than what actually happened in season 5.

Is it weird that I think so too? I mean, if you think about it, it could have been an overreaching arc and done away with so much of the ridiculous "Where is God?" and the angst. And Dean wouldn't have gotten rid of the amulet, hmph. I'm glad you liked it as much as I did! Dean had so many reasons to say yes, and the show started to go there when he asked for terms and conditions, and I was excited to see where it would go. Turned out, it went pretty much nowhere and got Adam angel-napped, but I'll stick to my version :) It's tempting to give Sam the chance to make things right, but Bells Pond was where he needed to be in my mind, where he'd learn so many important lessons.
