LOL You caught that, huh? We definitely share that obsession! Originally I couldn't decide which role JDM was going to play, whether he was the boss or the head of the Colorado agency...but someone posted a look-a-like picture of JDM and Javier and I thought it would be funny to have them both, bickering over cases.

I wish I could have added more about their backstories, and if they were essential to the story, I might have tried. But it was so damn long already and I wanted the story to be more like a mystery novel where some things are left to prequels and sequels :P
