Just for something a little different, I thought I'd rec some of my favorite non-J2/SPN stories. These are ones I can go back to, over and over, and read.

Still one of my all-time favorite stories - original and so well done. Stemming from the first three seasons of Without A Trace, the story answers what Danny's life would have been like if his parents hadn't died and he'd never gone into foster care. He keeps meeting up with Martin along the way, and he has dreams of a life in the FBI that he can't really remember. But the dreams serve a purpose, bringing Danny exactly where he's needed at a critical moment in Martin's life. Gorgeously written and enthralling. Another fave, a fun read that I keep coming back to. Martin is happily wrapped up in his own little world until a venture to a party one night in college changes his life forever. He meets Danny, outgoing and charismatic, and they travel a rocky road to love. Such a sweet, college!fic of these two, with their personalities meshing so well with the Danny & Martin we know.

Misconceptions To Preconceived Convictions | NC-17 | 50K

Wherein Danny is a stripper in a gay club while studying to become a lawyer and there is no alcoholism. Martin does work for the FBI Missing Persons in NYC and finds Danny one night when he wasn't even looking. Jack owns the strip club wherein Danny dances, Sam is Jack's wife and Vivian is Martin's boss. I LOVE THIS STORY. There's angst, but never too much, and the two men come together so realistically [beyond the whole stripper thing, of course]. I also really like the AU Jack and Sam in this! I could read this over and over and over.

NCIS - Tim McGee/Tony DiNozzo

Tony discovers something about McGee, which leads him to discover something about himself. Basically, Tony finds out McGee likes guys and it sets his mind a-whirling! I adore Tim/Tony, but good fic is so hard to find, which is why this was a dream to come across! A great, long look at Tim and Tony coming together, but their personalities remain so true to the TV characters. Starts during Season 5, after Jean.
