Gotta say, the post you linked kindof brought me down, as does generally hearing about the batshitcrazies of the fandom, because I do worry about people on the sane side of the fandom bailing as a result of it, or as a result of outsider's attitudes towards the fandom. But this post definately bucked things up again, because, well, basically, I agree with the whole lot of it, especially "I am not, nor will I ever be, ashamed to be a part of this fandom." I love this side of fandom so dammed much, I don't want to see it change or be ashamed of itself ever. =)
