ARGH! WORK! WHY MUST YOU SCREW WITH MY ABILITY TO READ A LOT OF FIC? Another short list, but I have so much fic bookmarked for this weekend (when I don't want to work on my Big Bang anymore, that is).

This is far and away one of the best stories I've read in the last few months. Very different from what I usually seek out, as it's very much a horror/murder story, but it was fantastic. It was dark and horrifying and at the same time, written so gorgeously it made my stomach hurt a little bit, and I couldn't stop reading. Like every line was essential and perfect. And the ending, eeeeek! Definitely give this one a chance.

My favorite story to come out of the Olympic fic craze :) Understated, emotional, and lovely!
