What are y'all working on right now? Be it fic (more than one on your plate?), art, or anything else... TELL ME. Give me snippets if you must :)

I'm in dire need of motivation for my [livejournal.com profile] spn_cinema fic! Not inspiration, since I have that in spades, but the will to write a heck of a lot faster than I have been. Any tips for speed!writing to get the plot out?

Well I'm working on my [livejournal.com profile] abused_sammy prompt and I've been having fun making headers recently. I just posted some for Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things.

The only tip I have for speed!writing is if I have the general plot in mind I write it down on like a notepad or anything and stick it near my computer so every time I go on I'm reminded I have to write this out.

Yay graphics! I miss making icons and stuff like that, but I never get on my desktop computer which has all of my good software. Bummer. Glad you're having fun with it :)

I have lots of little post-its and notebooks filled with ideas I can't forget to incorporate. Writing things down when you think of them is always a great idea.

i'm working on a bunch of fic in the sense that i open up a few files every once in awhile and write a few lines. :/

speed writing is my jam. i just let it flow, brain dump and worry about cleaning it up later.

Fortunately I only have the one to work on right now, but I'm the same way with writing a few lines at a time.

I envy you for speed!writing. I get so focused on individual sentences that it takes me a while to finish a scene. I'm utterly grateful when things just flow.

i'm kind of semi-"retired" from fandom but feel like i should finish the unfinished stuff on my hard drive. someday!

i bet you have to do a lot less editing at the end though. when i just brain dump, there are so many typos and plot holes and whatnot to wrap up later.

I'm working on way too much :p Currently... I'm writing my loveyoulikesin story, as well as my bigbang_mixup, bigbangbuffet, and my werewolfbigbang. I have a lot of deadlines in April (super_disney and spn_cinema also but I haven't touched them - remakes of Sky High, Priest, and Inkheart for those :P)

For writing... um... I throw on some music that inspires me to write (and study. I Pavloved myself with some music to keep me alert :P). Also, word wars help sometimes when I can actually find someone up to write with me, which isn't often. Just find someone who will sit with you and see how many words you can write in 15 minutes... and see how far you get by the time you're done :P And in general... the deadline always gets to me. I'm a last minute writer so I need the pressure of a deadline to get me going.

Lots of stories! How can you keep them all straight in your head? It's definitely admirable to be able to work one more than one thing at a time.

Eeek, deadlines. I'm the opposite way...the longer I wait, the more my inspiration fails me. Deadlines are a little crippling!

LOL! Mostly I keep them straight because they are so different. One is a curtain fic where the boys own a western store, one is a sequel to a story I wrote about Jensen being the smartest man in the universe and Jared the empathy bonded to him, another is an SPN crossover with Criminal Minds, and another is a sequel to my remake of Dinosaur.

And thankfully the remakes of other movies are pretty different too. (Sky High = Sam/Dean where both boys are subjected to demon blood and Dean is the bad boy of the class, with Sam the newbie/goodie twoshoes of the group. Priest I can't decide to go J2 or Sam/Dean, but I'm leaning towards JDM or John as the bad guy :P and Inkheart is Jared as a Dad with a beautiful baby girl with green eyes and freckles and Jensen as a character from another time and place that Jared can't remember but trusts anyway).

See... all so different I can't confuse them :P though I do tend to work on one at a time. I just look at the list for the next deadline (which is currently my western store owners :P) and I work on it until it's done.

I'm sort of working on my bigbang fic. It's finished, so I'm mostly going through it and beta-hunting. It's my "Sam's transsexual and Dean's an awesome brother" fic. An idea that wouldn't leave me alone until I complied and opened a new document for it, so (points to next paragraph)...

When I speed!write, I just open an empty document and start writing until my head's empty, more or less. I have a knack for shutting everything going on around me off, which kind of helps. But mainly I just start writing, and then I don't stop for however long it takes.

The ideas that won't leave you alone are the best ones :) You just roll with them as the words come out! Congrats on already having your draft.

I'm writing a actor!Jensen/bartender!Jared fic that's mostly just ridiculously schmoopy, yet surprisingly long. And I have like a billion outlines for other fics I want to write.

Good luck with your fic <3

Sounds like a fun story! Hope some of those other ideas get to see the light of day, too! :)

I'm trying t install Adobe After Effects haha
Well, no. For now I have a vid to make before the 11th, and the SPN CINEMAAAAA \o/ And then big bang...

Ok, here's the tip. The sooner you write the fic the sooner I can start working, like, really working on the art! ISN'T IT MOTIVATING ENOUGH?! :DDD

Cinema! Big Bang! All great things to look forward to ;)

Now THAT'S some motivation! Now that I'm writing more of the Jared/Jensen scenes, it's so much easier. I think you'll like it! ♥
