Heartbroken for my fair city. Sickened, sad, and still disbelieving. This is a city I love with all of my heart - as most of you know, some of my stories are basically love-letters to this gorgeous place - and to see it so marred is devastating. We are all quiet and mournful today, doing our best to show love, show unity, and show faith.
This hateful act of terror will not go unpunished.

I think a whole lot of people are going to fall in love with Charleston after this - once they see how we react.
We've definitely shown that we are a city of love, and nothing can sink us.

The more we learn about it, the more we resolve to change ourselves and make sure it NEVER happens again.
